Global/Euro pallet forks mast
A glitch in shipping delayed delivery by a few days. (Residential delivery) Not a big deal. But I had to modify the pallet mast to make it work. As received, the dimension between the top of the top rail and the bottom of the bottom rail was 16 3/8". I have access to two sets of forks, and neither set fit, so I had to grind 1/8" off the lower rail. I also had to weld a 1/2" plate to the bottom of each Euro/Global mounting bracket so they would contact the lower loader shaft. If I hadn't done this, the locking pins would have had to bear all the pressure exerted during operation. The mast looks well-constructed otherwise. The welds look solid. The powder-coated paint job looks good. I have a Swedish-made Alo Quicke Loader, and I suppose it's possible my loader does not conform to the Euro/Global style, which might explain why the bottom of your mounting brackets were not 1/2" thicker laterally. But I don't think that is likely. Either my mast was not built to specs, or you have a design problem. In the great scheme of things, it was still a positive purchase. Your price was attractive, considering the free shipping. And I think I'll get a lot of use with it. I’m sorry I had to rate the quality so low, although I believe it was a fair and thoughtful answer. Thank you for the opportunity to express myself. I encourage you to consider this review seriously.
