The use of a lift gate delivery will result in a $75 fee. If a lift gate is used in your delivery and you did not pay for it in advance, our office will contact you after the fact to collect payment. If this box is checked on your delivery receipt, please uncheck it and make a note if it was not requested by you to avoid this fee.
Customer is responsible for having equipment on site and ready to unload the product when it arrives. It will arrive banded to a pallet on a semi-truck. If you cannot unload it, you will need to add the liftgate delivery option when purchasing.
Freight ships with 3rd party carriers, not through Express Steel. Customer will receive tracking info and will assume responsibility for the freight once it leaves our facility.
Deliveries to islands may result in additional shipping costs. In this case, Express Steel can either ship free to the nearest mainland terminal, or the customer can pay the additional fees to have the product delivered directly to them.
Once your order has shipped, any address changes or re-deliveries are subject to additional fees.
Delivery appointments are included with all residential deliveries. The freight company will contact you with a day and window for the delivery. Commercial addresses will not include an appointment. If one is needed, please select the notify option on our website.
Delivery appointments must be scheduled with the freight carrier in a timely manner. Otherwise, additional terminal storage fees may need to be collected from the customer.
Delivery windows are not guaranteed, and Express Steel is not responsible for any time or financial responsibilities for freight carriers missing appointments.
Returned checks will be subject to additional fees.
Any returns must be initiated within 14 days of receiving the product. The product must be unused, and the customer is responsible for paying all return shipping fees, as well as a 20% restocking fee.
All special/custom orders are final sale and cannot be returned.
Any damage to freight MUST be noted at the time of delivery or a claim cannot be filed with the shipping company. If a product does arrive damaged, we encourage you to give our office a call immediately before the driver leaves your location so we can decide the best course of action.
